About Our Charity Event

A Celebration of Life!!!

"Bluegrass on (Lake) Beshear - Pickin' Life" is held each year in honor of Jim Fred and Martha Mills of Marion, KY.  The Pickin' Life Project and seven Knights of Columbus councils and sponsor the event.

The inaugural event on October 12, 2014 attracted more than 150 people and raised $2500 for area life-affirming pregnancy care centers.  The event won the Kentucky State K of C's Culture of Life Service award.

In 2020, "B on B" set its charity donation record with $24,054.  Each of our 3 supported PCCs received 1/3 of the total ($8,018 each).

"B on B's" 2021 goal is to raise $30,000 through generous donations.
